Kontrast Gallery
In 1996, Galleri Kontrast moved into the bank premises dating back to the beginning of the last century.
In the Great Hall with 8 meters to the beautiful glazed ceiling we show the larger exhibitions and in the bank vault you will find an exhibition with a large collection of photographs for sale. At the entrance there is a bookstore with a large selection of photo books, many of which are signed, and there we also sell posters and postcards.
In the old bank premises we show the larger exhibitions. We see the exhibitions at Galleri Kontrast as the extension and the in-depth on published reports. Often the exhibitions have a narrative or questioning theme. Our goal is to be a significant forum for documentary photography.
During the more than 20 years that Galleri Kontrast has been active, we have had time to show over 300 exhibitions. Take a look at our list of all the exhibitions shown at the gallery.
